Airsoft @ UMD Rules
- All club members must complete & sign a waiver prior to participation in any events. Walk-ons must complete a waiver for each event. Anyone under 18 years of age must have a signed waiver by a legal parent/guardian.
- All event participants must wear ANSI Z87+ goggles. Anyone under the age of 18 must wear a full ANSI Z87+ rated facemask. Mesh-Masks are not allowed.
- Club members must participate in annually in one of the offered 'Safety Days' - Walk-ons will be subject to a pre-event safety overview
- SPORTSMAN-LIKE conduct must be followed at all times
- FPS limits are as follows:
- 420 fps with .20 gram bb - full auto weapons
- 500 fps with .20 gram bb - single shot weapons - 100ft minimum engagement distance
- All participants must subject thier weapons to chronographing prior to each event
- No knives, lighters, pyrotechnics, explosives, real firearms, or any other hazardous items, objects, or materials are allowed on the field at any time.
- Alcohol is not permitted at any events, anyone who is known to be intoxicated will not be allowed to participate
- Any and all event photographers must wear bright red or orange clothing
- Weather appropriate clothing must be worn to all events
