AIRSOFT @ UMD - College Park

Rules

Rules MUST be followed at all times by all players participating in any and all Airsoft @ UMD events.

Failure to comply with the rules will always result in a verbal warning, and may result in explusion from the event.

In extreme cases Airsoft @ UMD reserves the right to ban players from returning to all future events.

Additional rules may be present when playing at non Airsoft @ UMD fields.

Airsoft @ UMD Rules

  • All club members must complete & sign a waiver prior to participation in any events. Walk-ons must complete a waiver for each event. Anyone under 18 years of age must have a signed waiver by a legal parent/guardian.
  • All event participants must wear ANSI Z87+ goggles. Anyone under the age of 18 must wear a full ANSI Z87+ rated facemask. Mesh-Masks are not allowed.
  • Club members must participate in annually in one of the offered 'Safety Days' - Walk-ons will be subject to a pre-event safety overview
  • SPORTSMAN-LIKE conduct must be followed at all times
  • FPS limits are as follows:
    • 420 fps with .20 gram bb - full auto weapons
    • 500 fps with .20 gram bb - single shot weapons - 100ft minimum engagement distance
  • All participants must subject thier weapons to chronographing prior to each event
  • No knives, lighters, pyrotechnics, explosives, real firearms, or any other hazardous items, objects, or materials are allowed on the field at any time.
  • Alcohol is not permitted at any events, anyone who is known to be intoxicated will not be allowed to participate
  • Any and all event photographers must wear bright red or orange clothing
  • Weather appropriate clothing must be worn to all events
